On May 28, 2022, Mr. Lihui Yi successfully defended his Bachelor thesis. The title of his Bachelor graduation thesis is "Time Domain Transmission Line Fault Location Method Based on Bergeron Model". The defense committee members are Dr. Junrui Liang from ShanghaiTech University, Dr. Minfan Fu from ShanghaiTech University, and Dr. Yu Liu from ShanghaiTech Univeristy.

Mr. Lihui Yi joined the lab from Spring of 2020. In the past 2.5 years, he devoted himself to the research of transmission line modeling and fault location for AC and DC transmission lines. Mr. Lihui Yi has one first-author first-author conference papers in IEEE Power and Energy Society General Meeting (PESGM). He is also planning to submit two first-author journal papers about line modeling and fault location for DC transmission lines.

Mr. Lihui Yi received several Ph.D offers with scholarship, including ECE of Northwestern University, ECE of Purdue University, ECE of University of Texas at Austin, ECE of University of Wisconsin-Madison, ECE of Texas A&M University, ECE of University of Maryland, and ECE of North Carolina State University. He also received Master offers from ECE of Georgia Institute of Technology and ECE of University of Michigan-ann arbor. Starting from Fall 2022, he will continue his Ph.D. study in the NorthWestern University, U.S., with emphasis on power system and network optimization.

Congratulation to Mr. Lihui Yi! Wish you a fruitful Ph.D. study and a successful career!
