Biography:

Dr. Yu Liu received the B.S. degree of Electrical Engineering and Automation from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China, in 2011. He was a visiting scholar in Power System Control and Automation Lab, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA, in 2012. In 2013, he received the M.S. degree of Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China and the M.S. degree of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA. In 2017, he received the Ph.D. degree of Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA.

Yu Liu is currently an assistant professor and the principle investigator (PI) of PSPAL group, in ShanghaiTech University. His research interests include power system/microgrid protection and fault locating, power system state/parameter estimation, and condition monitoring of power electronic systems.

Biography:

Mr. Binglin Wang joined PSPAL in March 2018. He is currently a Ph.D. student in PSPAL (starting from September 2018). He received his Bachelor degree of Electrical Engineering and Intelligent Control from Xi'an University of Technology, Xi'an, China, in Summer 2018. His research interests include HVAC and HVDC transmission line protection, fault locating and control algorithms.

Biography:

Mr. Dayou Lu joined PSPAL in April 2018. He is a graduate student in PSPAL starting from September 2018 and is now a Ph.D. candidate. He received the B.S. degree of Electrical Engineering and Automation from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2017. His research interests include transmission line distributed parameter modeling, protection and fault locating.
