Undergraduate visiting student Binglin Wang got the 'Excellent Thesis Award' in Xi'an University of Technology, Xi'an, China. Congratulations!
Binglin enters Xi'an University of Technology as an undergraduate student in Fall 2014, major in Electrical Engineering and Intelligent Control. Binglin has been a visiting students in PSPAL since March 2018 and has been working on transmission line protection algorithms. Binglin's thesis studies novel protection algorithms for Voltage Source Converter based High Voltage Direct Current (VSC-HVDC) transmission lines. Dr. Yu Liu is the advisor for his thesis. After graduation, he will continue his graduate study in PSPAL, ShanghaiTech.
