The 2018 ShanghaiTech Workshop on Emerging Devices, Circuits and Systems (SWEDCS) was held in ShanghaiTech from June 4th to June 5th, 2018. The workshop covered a number of topics in electrical engineering, including optical imaging, semiconductor devices, power & energy, intelligent computing, etc.
Specifically, the power session of SWEDCS was held on June 5th, 2018. This year the power session focuses on the wireless power transfer (WPT) technologies. The session is co-sponsored by ShanghaiTech and IEEE Industrial Electronics Society (IES) Shanghai Chapter. Invited speakers include Dr. Chris Mi, Dr. Young Jae Jang, Dr. Yan Lu, Dr. Takehiro Imura, and Dr. Minfan Fu.
At the end of the workshop, the speakers and other participants of the power session visited PSPAL.
